In October, employment numbers remained almost completely unchanged. October saw an increase of 47,000 in full-time employment, offsetting a decrease in part-time employment. Public-sector wage hikes slow
Wage growth in the public sector is rapidly easing, and now lags increases in the private sector. Public-sector wage settlements slowed to just 1.3 per cent on average in the third quarter from 1.8 per cent average in the second quarter, Human Resources and Skills Development Canada figures show. The Toronto Career Fair - "A prestigious event with great companies"
On October 29th, 2010, TorontoJobs.ca and Toronto Argonauts came together at Windows in the Rogers Centre, where they opened its doors to more than 2,000 job seekers throughout the GTA, with the aim of “Putting Toronto Back to Work”.
