Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Receptionist to add to their team. Our client is a full service CA firm, focusing on the needs of small and medium sized business corporations. 

The ideal candidate will perform diverse secretarial duties and administrative functions that require strict confidentiality. Training will be provided. 


  • Maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Answering and directing incoming calls to the appropriate person
  • Answering client inquiries, as required, or directing the inquiry to the best possible person to answer
  • Taking and delivering accurate phone messages, and taking call back numbers and names promptly
  • Greeting incoming clients and visitors and notifying the person being visited
  • offer coffee, tea, and water to clients or visitors
  • Maintain a neat and tidy reception area; replacing magazines and newspapers as received
  • Receive and sort daily mail
  • Kitchen duties
  • Problem solve copier and fax machine malfunctions
  • Ensuring that the boardroom is cleaned after meetings
  • Daily tea/coffee/lunch pick up for the Partners
  • Assisting the Executive Assistant when required
  • Other duties that may be assigned


  • Completed High School Diploma
  • 1-2 years working experience in relevant role
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Caseware would be an asset
  • Professional appearance
  • Solid communication skills, both verbally and written
  • ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
