We are looking for a Recruitment Assistant/Sales Associate for our office in
Mississauga (near 401 and Mississauga Road).
Responsibilities:Recruitment (50%):- Working temporary and permanent recruiting orders – finding candidates for own orders and
other associate orders.
- Working our TorontoJobs.ca booth at the job fairs – taking in resumes/talking to people.
- Support for resume mining packages
- Posting of jobs on other sites
- Finding creative ways to source candidates.
- Interview candidates for positions – in person, skype, facetime, telephone
- Reviewing and responding to emails to the general delivery mailbox.
- Representing TorontoJobs.ca at other job fairs/community outreach
- Coaching sessions for junior people
- Promotion of job fair to our past candidates who might not be on our email list
Sales (40%):
- all TorontoJobs.ca services – Recruitment, Job Board, Job Fairs, Coaching, Outplacement,
etc.
- Follow-up on previous recruiting orders.
- Contacting clients that are posting jobs on TorontoJobs.ca to promote other services.
- Work our TorontoJobs.ca booth at Toronto Entrepreneurs Conference & Tradeshow
- Calls to clients – for example:
- If not working on any recruitment orders = 30 calls per day
- If working on 1 order = 25 calls per day
- If working on 2 orders = 20 calls per day
Other (10%): - Inputting of candidate applications to our CRM system.
- Post jobs on social media
- Promote HR topics afternoon held twice per year to prospects
- Going to HR events as necessary
- Support/Promotion of our various events as needed
- Any other admin responsibilities
Skills Required- Experience in a recruitment or sales role (even if it were retail) would be a strong asset
- Interest in Human Resources/Recruitment and/or Sales
- Initiative, motivated individual
- Excellent communication skills
- New University or College graduates will be considered
- Car would be an asset
