Why work with just one of your favorite beverage companies when you can work with them all?
Since our first job, we’ve never looked back, and we’ve grown more than they ever thought possible - as have many of our clients. The one thing we’ve learned in this time is that, in this business, the only limit is your ambition. Big doesn’t have to mean ‘slow’. Small doesn’t have to mean ‘amateur’. Craft doesn’t have to mean ‘beer’. We’re passionate about pushing our clients to think beyond their current boundaries, because it means that we do too.
As a Canning Line Operator, you will travel to different customer locations to help those customers get their products packaged in cans. You will work as a team with the customer employees in an interesting and ever-changing environment. Mobile canning equipment will be loaded in the truck every morning and unloaded at the customers facility, and the opposite done at the end of the day. Operators are not only interacting with the product and with the machinery but also with the customers. The Canning Line Operator is the last line of defense for quality control before a canned product leaves a facility and goes out on the shelves.
A day in the life will have you:

  • Load, set up, take down and unload equipment at the start and end of canning runs
  • Mix sanitizing chemicals to clean and sanitize canning equipment
  • Complete and record all quality assurance checks
  • Operate the depalletizer to provide the canning line with a steady supply of cans. Learn the canning line and eventually be able to work interchangeably during the day with the Lead Operator
  • Ensure that all equipment, including the depal, is kept in a clean and presentable state
  • Maintain and take inventory of canning lines
  • Temporarily relieve of other business development and administrative positions within the company as needed
What we’re looking for:
  • Previous brewery or packaging experience
  • Mechanically inclined and resourceful with tools to troubleshoot and repair equipment on site
  • Physically fit to perform the duties of the job
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean driver’s abstract mandatory
  • Previous experience driving box trucks is an asset

Why work with us?
  • Competitive salaries, a stellar flexible extended health, dental, vision and Employee and Family Assistance Program
  • Plenty of vacation time, personal days, paid parental leave period and a flexible working environment to support your work life balance
  • Samples in the fridge from our awesome customers and reimbursement for your Beer Festival tickets – we love to support the craft industry!
  • Grow and advance alongside our business – we have grown exponentially over the past few years and we want to support our team members in doing the same
  • The chance to work with leading edge technology and a supportive team across Canada
  • Our team members are the heart of what we do, we love to show them our appreciation and have fun together with regular activities. Bring some ideas along!
