Job Description:
A TorontoJobs.ca client in Bolton is on a search for an Accounts Receivable Manager who will lead a team of support staff to provide financial and administrative services.
This role will report to the Chief Financial Officer and/ or Director of Finance.

FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Oversee all day-to-day accounts receivable and collection functions for all operating areas
Support all areas of the business in relation to accounts receivable, developing and enforcing policy guidelines to ensure compliance
Ensure efficient, timely and accurate billing processing and receipt of payment
Research and resolve escalating accounting inquiries
Produce and analyze accounts receivable reporting
Review weekly account summaries
Oversee the credit application practices of the business, supporting sales staff
Review credit applications and process approvals
Prepare aged receivable statements
Ensure disputed account balances are reconciled and adjusted
Coordinate with third-party collection agents
Create resources for accounts receivable to improve internal controls, efficiency of staff and consistency of processes and procedures
Assist in the implementation and development of new systems and processes
Perform all other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Credit Institute of Canada Designation - CCP Designation is Required
A minimum of 5+ years of experience at a management level
Leadership skills - abiliity to supervise, train, and inspire a team
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft suite of software and Windows operating systems
Technologically savvy
Discereet - able to manage confidential information
Strong sense of independent judgment
Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills
Business sense and problem solving abilities
Analytical and meticulous
Creative and focused on solutions
Organization and multitasking skills
Completion of post-secondary studies at a university level would be considered an asset
Knowledge of industrial, manufacturing or transportation industry would be considered an asset for this role
