Job Description:

 
We have partnered with our mid-size public accounting firm client located in North York with their search for a Senior Accountant for their firm. This is an established firm with a friendly, open corporate culture environment.
 
Responsibilities
 
  • Direct communication with clients to resolve accounting and tax issues
  • Responsible to compile and produce financial statements
  • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
  • Prepare corporate tax returns for a number of investment companies
  • Preparation of Notice -to -Readers  
  • Liaising with high net worth clients with some complicated investments
  • Some bookkeeping skills required
 
 

Job Requirements:

  • CPA Designation, with 5 years post graduate experience
  • Strong accounting experience
  • Strong corporate tax knowledge is a must
  • Well organized with ability to prioritize 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong client service skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong teamwork skills
