Job Description:

TorontoJobs.ca is on a search for a proactive CPA to join a mid-size public accounting firm in Mississauga. This role is open to a Senior Accountant or an Accounting Manager.

In this role you will:
  • Review and file tax returns and records (audit, review, and NTR)
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data
  • Identify and resolve issues concerning tax preparation
  • Draft a full set of financial statements
  • Assume leadership in planning and execuction of the team's output
  • Engage and maintain rapport with clients
  • Identify business opportunities for the firm
  • Train new team members

Job Requirements:

  • CPA designation
  • Proficiency in TaxPrep, CaseWare, Excel, and Quickbooks
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple assignments in an organized manner 
  • Experience with planning, preparing, and reviewing audit files
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian Tax
  • Previous experience in public accounting in a supervisory role
  • Meticulous - an eye for detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to engage with clients and the team
