Job Description:

Our client, a leading boutique firm in Toronto and Ottawa specializing in business valuation, damages quantification and forensic accounting services, is looking to expand immediately with the addition of energetic, personable and qualified professionals with hands-on experience. Responsibilites include:
  • Developing information request lists for clients;
  • Review and analysis of client financial and other information;
  • Meetings/correspondence with clients to obtain background information and/or regarding follow-up questions;
  • Industry and other research;
  • Preparation of schedules summarizing client financial and other information, as well as developing business valuation and loss models;
  • Drafting business valuation and loss expert reports, or portions thereof; and,
  • Fact checking of draft reports and schedules to verify sources, mathematical accuracy, and concepts underlying the business valuation or loss analysis.
In addition, you will be required to develop yourself professionally by undertaking the Chartered Business Valuator program of studies and by developing relationships with our current and new referral sources.
 

Job Requirements:

  • CPA designation (or have passed the CFE)
  • CBV designation or enrolled in the CICBV program of studies is an asset
  • Prior experience with business valuation, litigation, and forensic assignments is an asset
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
