We are looking for a creative candidate who can perform in a hybrid role as a Quality Assurance Tester and UI / UX Designer.

Quality Assurance Tester with experience in testing Rest API, Browser and Mobile testing.

As a UI/UX Designer you will help us create an industry-leading user experience for our users across all our platforms including browsers, iOS and andriod.

You will facilitate the discovery and development of design best practices across the organization, and display these through UI components, patterns and guidelines 

The chosen candidate will be one of the first employees working with a small team and will have the opportunity to dabble in different roles.

Responsibilities as QA Tester:

  • Develop and document software testing plans

  • Install software and hardware and configure operating system software in preparation for testing

  • Execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests

  • Develop and implement software and information system testing policies and procedures

  • Collect and document user's requirements and develop logical and physical specifications

  • Research, evaluate and synthesize technical information to design, develop and test computer-based systems

  • Develop data, process and network models to optimize architecture and to evaluate the performance and reliability of designs

  • Plan, design and co-ordinate the development, installation, integration and operation of computer-based systems

  • Assess, troubleshoot, document, upgrade and develop maintenance procedures for operating systems, communications environments and applications software

  • Light customer service (help desk)


Requirements:

  • 2+ years of production working experience with Web and Mobile applications.

  • Knowledge and understanding of QA processes

  • Ability to estimate QA activities required for the project

  • Ability to write clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases

  • Strong knowledge of testing types and methodologies

  • Test case design in the end-to-end integration testing

  • Experience of working in an Agile (Scrum) environment

  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision.

  • Excellent written and oral communication English skills

  • Automation testing experience desirable


Responsibilities as UI / UX Designer:

  • Keep up-to-date with UX design and design thinking best practices and principle, user research methodology and usability testing tools

  • Lead the design of digital features for web and mobile

  • Take ownership to drive the UX strategy

  • Create sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes

  • Document work

  • Collaborate with our agile team

  • Communicate with team on MS Teams

  • Attend daily stand-up meetings

  • Provide input and ideas that solve problems


Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience designing mobile and responsive experiences

  • Solid UX and UI Practice/Process portfolio demonstrating impactful customer experiences, including experience developing digital products from initial concept through to implementation

  • Proficiency in Adobe XD

  • Experience in resilient and scalable applications

  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

  • Interpersonal skills - being able to get along and collaborate with others

  • Flexibility and adaptability - being able to pivot as needed

  • Accountability - taking ownership of your work

  • Creative - being able to think outside the box
