Account Manager’s Key Responsibilities:

Portfolio Management:
  • Proactively maintain client contact to ensure that clients’ needs are being met and to identify opportunities for providing additional services.
  • Review financial information prepared by our staff and provide insight to our clients regarding the same.
Resource Management:
  • Manage the workload of multiple teams to ensure that they are providing deliverables on time and to Taligent’s industry leading standards.
  • Take a leadership role in Taligent’s review and development process, both in day to day coaching as well as performance reviews.
Member of Management Team:
  • Participate in regular managers’ meetings regarding operational and planning strategies.

Job Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of accounting (can be learned through completion of CPA designation or learned on the job).
  • Thorough and in-depth knowledge of office/accounting systems, procedures and document flows consistent with someone who has at least 10 years experience in an accounting office environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with stakeholders and reflect positively on the company’s image
  • Proactively identify problems / issues, analyze them, and propose and resolve solutions independently
  • Ability to lead a team and create a commitment to common goals
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent computer skills where new programs and concepts can be learned rapidly and/or taught to staff
Our client's competitive compensation/benefits package includes:
  1. Competitive Salary
  2. Vacation: Starts at 8% (4 weeks), after 5 years 10% (5 weeks)
