Job Description:

Our client, a mid-sized public accounting firm located in Toronto, is looking to add a detailed and enthusiastic Bookkeeper to their team!

Job Responsibilites Include:
  • Administer & process  Accounts Payble and Accounts Receivable duties 
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts including bank accounts
  • Maintain financial records using computerized accounting systems 
  • Prepare and process various government remittances including HST, WSIB
  • Preparation of working papers
  • Assist with the preparation of various tax returns

Job Requirements:

  • Previous and relevant experience with full-cycle bookkeeping 
  • 2 years' plus experience working in a public accounting firm 
  • Previous experience working with QuickBooks  
  • Experience with CaseWare & TaxPrep is considered an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a team environment 
  • Attention to detail and deadline driven
