Job Description:

 

Our client, a global supplier of premium quality poultry products, is looking to add a Quota Services Coordinator to their team. 

 

Responsibilities Include: 

Quota Services - Industrial Customer Support  

  • Track and input in Excel industrial customer orders to determine if customers have sufficient quota to cover their production needs 

  • Provide approval for open orders to the customer service team  

  • Coordinate with the customer service team and accounting to ensure that customers that have depleted their quota allocations are charged for the quota 

  • Provide status updates to the Director of Quota Services on customer quota balances in relation to their forecasts and product needs on a weekly basis  

  • Monitor client quota balances and assist the Director of Quota Services with determining when clients will need to apply for additional quota 

  • Assist the Director of Quota Services with managing the application process of industrial customers for additional quota  

  • File and send customer reconciliation packages to industrial customers monthly  

  • Act as a liaison between the industrial sales team and the quota services team to address quota related inquiries  

  • Assist sales with reaching out to customers for updated monthly forecasts as required  

  • Provide the Director of Quota Services with administrative support as required 

Quota Services – General Support     

  • Complete transfer forms used by Global Affairs Canada to transfer quota in and out of the account 

  • Prepare and submit quota transfer forms for industrial clients when transfers are required throughout the year

  • Assist with weekly quota reports via Excel and Access database  

  • Assist with reviewing and approving Customs Broker Invoices  

  • Assist with summiting bonded documents during the peak season (3rd & 4th quarters)

Job Requirements:

 

  • Strong attention to detail 

  • Comfortable working with numbers and using Excel 

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral 

  • Previous experience in a customer or supplier facing role (1-3 years) 

  • Knowledge of Access or an accounting software package would be an asset 

  • Exposure to sourcing products offshore or working in a regulated industry would be an asset 

  • College diploma or University degree 

  • Strong desire to learn and embrace the opportunity to grow in a unique role
