Job Description:

Our client, a manufacturing company located in Mississauga, is looking to add a Supply Chain Coordinator to their growing team! In this position you will play an important role in planning, coordinating, and shipping finished products to customers. You will be responsible for production planning, supply chain management and supervising the warehouse team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Inventory management and forecasting
  • Materials and supply chain analyses
  • Supervise warehouse team
    • Perform warehouse and logistics functions (shipping/receiving)
    • Operate material handling equipment (forklift, stackers, walkies etc.)
    • Import and export materials (inter-company)
  • Production planning
    • Work closely with the production teams
    • Work closely with CSR and Sales team
  • Purchasing
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects.
  • Work with customer service and sales to ensure timely deliveries
  • Ensure warehouse and service KPIs are met.

Job Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary education in planning/supply chain or equivalent experience
  • Planning and/or supply chain experience 2-4yrs
  • Warehouse and Logistics experience 2-4 years (including forklift experience)
  • MS Office Suite (Excel, Word)
  • Purchasing experience is considered a strong asset
  • SAP experience is considered a strong asset
