We are seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician OR Assistant to join our team.

Reporting Relationship: Manager, Pharmacy Services.

Availability: Available to work Monday to Friday. up to 30 hours a week

Position Responsibilities:

  • Accountable and responsible for all technical aspects of drug distribution, including filling medication bins and injecting Vaccines (regulated technicians).
  • Purchasing and receiving drugs, checking expiration dates, pre-packaging, delivering medication to the patient care areas and documentation
  • Other related duties as required.


Job Requirements:


  • Nexxsys or Propel experience
  •  Completion of a recognized Community College Pharmacy Technician course or equivalent required if technician.
  • Registration with the College of Pharmacists required (RPh.T designation).
  • 1-2 years Pharmacy Technician
  • Ability to work independently or as a member of a team to optimize workflow in the pharmacy department.
  • Good mathematical ability.
  • Ability to prioritize a consistent and varied workload.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective customer-focused service to patients, other health care providers and volunteers
  • Effective negotiation and conflict management/resolution skills.
  • Ability to differentiate between brand and generic drug names and understand their clinical uses.
  • Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.
