Registered Early Childcare Educator

The RECE teacher is usually responsible for the activities in a playroom. Using ECE skills, information and material easily available, the teacher with the help of subordinates and trainees directs the training and behaviour management of children in the room.

A daily routine is followed in a clean, safe and comfortable environment. Children’s records are updated and parents are also kept informed of their child’s performance.

An Early Childhood Education Diploma or Equivalent is required with a valid Police Reference Check for Vulnerable Sector.  RECE must be registered and in good standing with the College of ECE of Ontario.
