RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Navigate process control systems and associated field devices.
  • Assess, program, and repair PLCs, HMIs, Drives, and other control systems.
  • Act as a consultant and resource to operations and maintenance team members when identifying and troubleshooting issues.
  • Support capital projects, installations of instrumentation and control devices
  • Manage changes to systems by keeping programs backed up and updating documentation, schematics, and drawings.
  • Successfully support daily activities, periodic shutdowns for fabric changes/maintenance, long-term planning and capital projects related to the process controls and E&I department.
  • Support Reliability programs such as Thermography, Ultrasound, Motor and Power Analysis

Seeking TWO E&I Specialists for a thriving global paper packaging manufacturer in the Pryor, Oklahoma area. This position will provide hands-on technical support to all manufacturing operations for instrumentation and electrical control applications, or mechanical applications, including paper machines, secondary fiber, automated warehouse, effluent treatment, and boiler room.

Note: 

  • We need 2 -  E & I Specialists - one for converting and one for papermill
  • NO JOB HOPPERS and can be junior/green but moldable.
  • Seeking AUTOMATION, ROBOTICS, and/or MAINTENANCE for both positions- MUST HAVE
  • Postion 1- Converting, looking for more mechanical - does not require a degree but MUST HAVE heavy mechanical experience in manufacturing or industrial industry that may include oil and gas industry experience.
  • Position 2- Papermill looking for more electrical - does not require a degree but MUST HAVE heavy electrical experience (preferably with high voltage), manufacturing or industrial industry that may include the oil and gas industry

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology, or other related degree or a vocational certificate/diploma in electronic controls/instrumentation/technician.
  • A combination of education and experience will be considered in place of a degree.
  • 1-3+ years’ experience as an electrical maintenance technician in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Papermill or converting industry is highly preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of various electrical sensors, switches, controllers, instrumentation, transmitters, automated valves, calibrations, industrial communications, robotics, motion control and AC/DC control power
  • Programming experience includes the ability to create, monitor, and modify PLC and DCS control logic.
  • Ability to work with plant personnel, engineering groups, and outside contractors to ensure the proper execution of work.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met with a sense of urgency
