Founded in 1991, Inside Out is a not-for-profit registered Canadian charity whose mandate is the promotion of the cultural expression of the LGBT community, primarily through the exhibition of films and video. Each May, Inside Out presents the Toronto Lesbian and Gay Film and Video Festival, Canada’s largest queer film and video festival and the third largest in North America. In addition to its popular and growing festival, Inside Out also hosts year-round screenings, parties, workshops and other special events.
