Lorraine Kimsa Theatre for Young People, under the banner of YPT, has been dedicated to presenting the very best in professional theatre for families and schools since 1966. A non-profit organization, our Mission is to create innovative, passionate theatre to empower, educate and entertain young people and the adults in their lives. In June 2001, the company received a generous donation from Kevin Kimsa, in honour of his mother, Lorraine Kimsa, and her lifelong dedication to community theatre. In acknowledgement of this extraordinary gift, the company was proudly renamed Lorraine Kimsa Theatre for Young People (LKTYP).
