A Calgary-based technology development company is looking for a Product Manager to be a part of a first class team engaged in bringing an amazing new product to market. You will need to have a solid foundation tracking market trends and competitive offerings, interfacing with customers and sales organization to drive product direction and ensure capabilities meet market needs and customer satisfaction goals.

You Need to Bring

• 5 -10 years’ experience in a Product Management/Product Owner role
• Experience with Agile and/or Lean processes at the Product and Development level
• Demonstrated success defining and launching user-focused, successful products
• Ability to clearly define product strategy and roadmap
• Experience investigating and setting product priorities, requirements, deadlines, budgets and deliverable schedules
• Experience facilitating discussions among various stakeholders
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• An understanding of technology used in web development/deployment of Software products
• Detail-oriented personality complimented with strong analytical skills
• Above excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal
• Experience managing and/or leading a team
• Ability to problem solve and present solutions
• Manage and participate in all feature proposals and mockups, including final design
• Facilitate implementation by providing teams with the necessary level of detail to ensure clarity about what is being built and delivered as a feature expert.

Minimum Qualifications

• A MS/BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of product management experience, with the proven ability to remain objective given competing priorities
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle, including Agile development strategies
• Solid technical background with understanding of software development and web technologies
• Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams with a wide range of skills and objectives
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, must be able to build trust as well as internal and external relationships
• Pragmatic Marketing certifications would be considered an asset
