We are looking for a drafting technician (Rebar Detailer) who is ready to do big things with us. We want you.

Drafting Technician (Rebar Detailer)-

Your goal in this position is to provide detailed technical plans, drawings and list of material for reinforcing steel fabrication and placing. We expect you to create, modify and review drawings and prepare for approval. Be prepared for any roles and projects given to you by the office manager.

The Specifics

This is a full-time permanent position working 40 hours per week and the salary we negotiate will be competitive and commensurate with experience. You’ll work out of our modern executive offices at 2380 Bristol Circle, Suite #9, Oakville, ON, L6H 6M5, out of the noise and bustle of the shop. Qualifications

3 + years of experience with drafting or detailing

Experience with rebar and reinforced concrete structures

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or college of diploma in related field

Skilled in AutoCad and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

Strong communication, creativity, planning skills and work ethics

Shows strength in organizational, problem solving and team building skills
