Burlington Heights Medical Centre is looking for full-time/ Part-time family physician for a brand new, state-of-the-art, modern 2000 sq. Ft walk-in/family clinic. Fully equipped with EMR and admin facility in one of busiest plazas in Burlington This facility is opening in February 2019, and is located in a highly dense Burlington Heights Plaza on a busy Guelph line with street level visibility and hundreds of patients already pre-registered. The facility includes 5 examination rooms, a fully equipped lab, patient waiting area, reception desks, doctor’s offices, and a full-service IDA pharmacy. No Overhead or we open for other kind of arrangement. Existing physicians in the area wanting to relocate are welcome and will be compensated. Newly licensed physicians welcome.
Job requirements
 
Languages: English
 
Education: Degree in Medicine and Registered Physician with the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons.
 
Specific Skills
 
Advise patients on health care; Prescribe and administer medications and treatments; Perform
patient advocacy role; Examine patients and take their histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays
and other diagnostic procedures; Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients physical and mental health; Communicate health promotion, disease, illness and accident prevention to patients; Co-ordinate or manage primary patient care; Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
