Responsibilities:

 

  • Effectively communicate with union members and referrals via phone, video chat, and email.
  • Recommend permanent insurance plans that fit clients' personal needs.
  • Distribute policy proceeds after a claim is submitted and approved.
  • Complete administrative tasks including maintaining records and handling policy renewals.
  • Describe the advantages and disadvantages of different policy options.
  • Respond to clients’ insurance-related questions and issues.

Requirements:

 

  • Willingness to attain Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario License.
  • Interest in insurance, marketing, sales, or commerce.
  • Insurance experience is an asset but not necessary, we will provide training.
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
