Staff Pharmacist

A New Pharmacy seeking a Staff Pharmacist with potential for Manager Position

We are looking for professionals who demonstrate clinical precision and a strong business acumen. A full time position is available for a new neighbourhood Community Pharmacy in a medical clinic.

Key responsibilities for a  Pharmacist joining our team include:

Demonstrate outstanding clinical ability and leadership, by bringing energy, enthusiasm, passion and strong communication as we strive to do the best for our patients. 

Key Competencies include:

Interface and plan clinics, events, etc.,

Ensure company standard operating procedures, policies, professional standards and applicable laws and regulations are followed.

The pharmacy achieves and maintains clinical & financial growth

Dispensing medication and pharmaceutical therapies with accuracy,

Counseling on prescription medications, OTC, patient and provider requests.

Participation in programs including cognitive/enhanced services as these programs may evolve over time and as required by the patients, and the pharmacy,

Collaboration with pharmacy assistant(s), and management to accurately dispense prescription medications.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently

Ability to maintain the optimum balance between the profession of pharmacy and business of pharmacy. 

Other Duties as Assigned. 

What Makes You a Good Fit:

Current licensure in good standing with the OCP

Minimum of 2 years of community pharmacy practice.

Commitment to providing exceptional patient care;

Computer proficiency in Kroll

Strong financial acumen

Additionally:

An open availability to work during our business hours: Monday - Saturday 10am - 6pm, only 5 of those days weekly. 

Live in close proximity or have their own transportation to get to the pharmacy. Located in South Oakville very close to the 403.
