It's an acronym for The Ultimate Collection of Winsock Software and it harkens back to our start as one of the first software download sites. During the last ten years we have established ourselves as a well-known and trusted name in the Internet industry.

What's it like to work at Tucows? First off: the workplace environment has the kind of energy you won't find in the concrete jungle. In our Toronto office, we work in a big warehouse space in a great neighborhood. Here, publishers, printers, design studios and animation houses vie for space in what was once the outskirts of town, and is now mere minutes from the heart of the action. Inside, there's a basketball hoop in the "lobby." Foosball in the lunchroom.
