Job Description:

Our client, a is seeking an experienced and results-driven salesperson to join their energetic team.
They are in search of a Sales Associate to focus on new account development in the wholesale food and beverage sector. 


Job Responsibilities:
  • Require a Sales Representative with a hunter sales mentality, to generate new revenue and meet and exceed sales revenue targets.
  • Developing and qualifying prospective sales leads within territory assigned to drive additional sales opportunities, either by cold-calling or network lead generation.
  • Establishes accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential clients.
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential target markets.
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Services existing accounts by obtaining orders, recommending further products, resolving customer concerns by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area demographics and customer sales.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Individual must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license.
  • Proven track record, and minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in sales and especially within the food and beverage industry a definite asset.
  • Ability to work remotely.
  • Bilingual or multi-lingual ability, a definite asset.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Aptitude for prospecting new business, developing Client relationships, negotiation, and persuasion.
  • Highly motivated, determined, and target driven.
  • Expert in time management and personal organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but may accept relevant experience.
