Duties include:
- Ability to repair and maintain circular knitting machines including: Orizio, Monarch, Texten, Lien Yuan, Pai Lung, Beane
- General Maintenance such as: change needles, sinkers, belts, grease and clean to ensure quality and optimal performance
- Proactive in troubleshooting, detecting irregularities and malfunctions.
- Inspect, report and dismantle inoperable machines for reusable parts, recycle
- Read blueprints, diagrams and drawings to install, align, dismantle and overhaul
- Ability to operate rigging, hoisting/lifting devices and forklifts to position machinery and parts during installation, set-up and repair or relocating
- Hire, supervise and co-ordinate all production and workers
- Provide complete training to optimal machine production and ensure safety
- Ensure all company policies and safety procedures are followed
- Establish methods to meet targets and product demand
- Review all work orders for accuracy, material for quality
- Submit material/supply requisitions and reports to Management
- Resolve work issues and recommend improvements and production flow
- Submit week production, machine and worker reports for improvements
- Increase machine performance, production and quality control
