Packaging Inside Sales

SUMMARY:

Our ToronotJobs.ca client is seeking an Inside Sales Rep/Customer Service Representative with experience in the packaging industry to assist with remote sales development calls and coordinate with field sales team members to understand customers' unique needs and potential sales opportunities. A critical component of this position is communicating in a positive and supportive manner with a sense of urgency while projecting a positive attitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Initiates customer calls to promote new and existing products and services, offer special discounts and promotions, or provide essential account management services.
• Provides product information to meet customers' needs, support upselling, and achieve sales targets.
• Completes routine support and sourcing tasks to process renewals or sales.
• All orders must be processed promptly.
• Answer all incoming phone calls within two-three rings.
• Must be able to support three or more outside sales representatives.
• Prepare quotes for customers and sales representatives.
• Provide outstanding customer service by going above and beyond.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Education or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience dealing with customers in the packaging industry.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers whose first language is English.
